Whoever said life is easy should wake up. It is and sometimes not. To some, a hard life is the rule not the exemption.
Living in this world can be exhausting. I hear you there bros and sis. All of us at one time or another experience hardships in this life. The apostle Paul even longed to go to Jesus and leave this world probably more of escaping this world. Christ promised a mansion to his listeners when He walked this world. It is still a promise to us. Paul reiterates Jesus’ words in this chapter which is the context of this verse.
Jesus did not promise an easy life to those who follow Him. He even gave a warning. If we put our hopes in what we see today, then that hope can be easily shattered. That is why Paul lived a life of faith–believing.
If you are having a hard time today, stop seeing. Believe.
