I can code a program (in some 90’s form of computer language), I can do graphic design, I think I can be a digital influencer. I surely want to do some hacking (the good kind). If I knew about this event, I would surely have carved some time off to attend. Alas, I just found out about this today, October 29 and its going to happen tomorrow, October 30 starting at 7:ooPM at CCC Philippines, 40 Scout Borromeo St., South Triangle, Quezon City.

If you are a Christian and you can code, or design or influence, then you should definitely come if you are free. You might be the one who will be used of God to do something that can change the world, that’s how big this can be.

Below is the description from their webpage:

From hacking computers to hacking the climate, “hacking” has taken another form this time to the hearts of the online community. Indigitous Manila takes hacking to a different stage as it hosts the Philippines’ first Christian Hackathon.

Join fellow coders, graphic designers, and other digital influencers in this two day event. The hackathon will start this Friday, October 30 at 7pm and will last till Saturday, October 31 at 7pm.

This is an opportunity to be part of developing ministry tools that can further empower missions to share and build people’s faith towards Jesus. Participants are also given a chance to further enhance their skills in the field they are in.

Indigitous is a movement that aims to connect people to Jesus through the digital platform. The group behind it is presently working with other digital influencers to form strategies and tools that can help fulfill the Great Commission.
