Article-26_Learn-when-and-when-not-to-help-300x222Dealing with family members, relatives and friends who ask for our financial help can can be tough and difficult. Thus, we should learn when and when not to help family, relatives and friends. Let me share it with you:

First, Linawin – Utang ba o Hingi?

Second, ask for post dated cheque/s (PDC) or promissory note.

“Pwede bang ‘wag mo munang i-encash or i-deposit ‘yung check?”  Sino ang dapat makiusap? Dapat siya!  Siya ang may utang eh!  Ang nangyayari, baligtad!  Tayo ang inutangan, tayo ang nagmamaka-awang maningil.  Parang mali ano?

Eh, paano kung walang postdated cheque?  At least promissory note.

Ang punto dito ay it’s not “my” decision, its “our” decision!
